SDG's

Lucy Group has adopted the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) as an appropriate framework to implement and communicate its sustainability policy, strategy and approach. The SDG’s are a collection of 17 interlinked Global Goals that were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 to help achieve a sustainable and brighter future for all.

By adopting a balanced approach across social, economic, and environmental sustainability, the UN’s aim is to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure peace and prosperity by 2030. Currently 149 countries report on the SDG’s, which have been adopted globally by businesses, local authorities, and many other organisations.

To provide focus and deliver improvements, we have adopted eight SDG’s that resonate with the Group’s approach. A key part of this project is to demonstrate how we directly contribute to our priority SDG and indirectly support others.

To ensure continual improvement, we will measure our progress and will, when practicable, widen the focus to further SDG’s. To find out more, please view the United Nations website.
