We are committed to responsible and sustainable business based on our three key pillars: People, Planet and Progress. 

We have adopted the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) framework, which are used by 149 countries and many leading organisations. We actively prioritise 8 of the 17 SDGs whilst also supporting the remaining 9, putting people and planet at the heart of everything we do, to achieve progress with a purpose.

CSR

We have a longstanding Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) programme of supporting good causes, actively improving environmental performance and promoting the development of our teams. These activities can be mapped directly to the SDGs we have adopted, such as providing support to educational programmes and assisting in projects that benefit the local community.

Planet

As a business we operate with respect for our natural environment and a focus on reducing our impacts. We are working towards net zero by measuring greenhouse gas emissions in compliance with ISO 14064 Part 1 2018 and are committed to improving our recycling; resource and operational efficiency; and prioritising the use of renewable energy across our operations. We engage with our people and stakeholders across the supply chain to promote the responsible use of natural resources in our businesses and we actively protect and support ecosystems and biodiversity in our developments.

Progress

We are committed to empowering our stakeholders to prosper and thrive. Each of our businesses work closely with their customers and stakeholders to further their sustainable aspirations, designing and producing innovative, smart, sustainable solutions, for a better future. We promote a culture of transparency in all our relationships and encourage sustainable and ethical practices across our supply chain through active collaboration.

At Lucy Group, sustainability is an inherent part of our purpose, strategy, approach and values. Our aim is to deliver profitable growth whilst also contributing positively to wider society and the environment.

We carefully consider both the short and long-term consequences of our business decisions. We drive improvement through compliance with legislation and employ emerging technologies and practices to deliver our goals in support of our stakeholders.
