Oxford, UK – 15 April 2026: Lucy Group has completed the acquisition of TOFCO CPP Ltd, a UK-based manufacturer and supplier of electrical distribution and highway electrical products.
Established in 1973 and headquartered in Ponteland, Northumbria, TOFCO’s product offering includes street lighting cut-outs, isolators, fuse units, distribution panels, feeder pillars and EV charging solutions. The company – which serves local authorities, utility providers and infrastructure operators – has built a reputation for quality engineering and reliable products serving both UK and export markets, notably Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Australia and New Zealand.
Richard Dick, Executive Chairman at Lucy Group, said: “TOFCO is a company that we have long admired for its innovation and carefully designed products that are built for durability, reliability and long-term performance. As a well-established family business, we have much in common and shared values. Together with Lucy Zodion and Flashnet, which have an equally strong heritage in the street lighting sector, we have the perfect springboard for expanding our market presence and driving steady growth. We are delighted that TOFCO’s founder and Managing Director, Noel Toft, will be staying on for the next 12 months to help with the transition.”
Noel Toft, Managing Director of TOFCO, said: “After more than 50 years building TOFCO, my primary focus remains on maximising the company’s potential for long-term success. By aligning with Lucy Group, I am confident that TOFCO’s team can elevate the business and its products to the next level, becoming an even greater force across the industries we serve.”
