The 2019 Oxfordshire High Sheriff Engineering Awards

Lucy Group are again sponsoring the High Sheriff Engineering Awards in 2019. These awards were founded by our CEO Richard Dick when he was High Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 2009-2010.

We are partnering with Abingdon & Witney College and The Engineering Trust to look for outstanding young people who excel in Engineering, Design Technology or Resistant Materials to win a prestigious High Sheriff Award. Nominations are now open for 2019. Prizes include £1,000 for each winning student’s school, an iPad for each winning student and a mini iPad for each runner up!

To be eligible, nominees must attend an Oxfordshire school and be a current student in years 10-13. Each school can make multiple nominations in each category.

The awards’ ceremony will take place at Abingdon & Witney College on the evening of Tuesday 2nd July 2019.

Please nominate students using this form in the following categories:-

• 14/15-year-old Outstanding Achievement
• 14/15-year-old Outstanding Student
• 16-18-year-old Outstanding Achievement
• 16-18-year-old Outstanding Student
• Oxfordshire Young Female Engineer of the Future

All winners of the above categories will then be automatically considered for the ‘Overall Winner’ award.

Nominations will need to be returned before 5pm on Friday 7th June 2019
